This video shows the banners that women in Damascus carried while walking in Medhat Basha, like Muslim and Christian, Arab and Kurds form Syria. It says “We will demonstrate even if we are shot, Damascus is freedom and dignity, Damascus stand for Homs , Banias and Daraa and many others… ”
A big demonstration took place in Midan -Damascus, where more than 1500 people participated chanting for freedom and martyrs. 20 buses with security forces were reported to be sent to disperse the demonstration.

Omar Moheiddeen was arrested at the Homs central jail door when he came to visit his son. The reason for his arrest was: his ID said he was from Bab Alsbaa’.

Reports say that security forces invaded the houses of Bassam Sohyoon, Othman Sohyooni, and their father Mohammad Sohyooni (called Abou Othman). Witnesses say they destroyed the furniture, threw away and damaged food supplies (including oil). They broke glass and stole property deeds that belong to Mohammad Sohyooni (Abou Othman).

Many arrests today in the city and on the Homs-Tartous highway based on identity cards . Some of the detainees are: Sheikh Sari Al Masri, Imam of the Ali Bin Abi Taleb mosque, and Sheikh Shareef Berghleh, Imam of the Sultan Abdelhameed mosque. At the same time, 40 people who were previously arrested were released today, and the city is seeing redeployment of army without any tanks since yesterday night.
