Funeral of Ghasan Abdelkarim Alabdo from Saraqeb
Al-Qalmon, Fulayta: 3 martyrs from Qalmon passed away after they were shot dead by a sniper on April 23. People found their dead bodies and buried them on April 26. The three Martyrs are: Father Ibrahim Bero, an agricultural engineer and his two sons Shadi Bero, a 3rd year law student, and Mohamad Bero, a school student in 12th grade.
People in Qameshli are very upset about their deaths and are planning a massive demonstration that will be joined by people from the surrounding areas (Jrajer, Aljebah, Alsahl, Ras Al-ain, and Asal Alward). Reports are saying thugs are all over the area to break the protest down.
Edlib: Saraqeb just mourn martyr Ghasan Al-Abdo who was a soldier in the 5th devision. According to witnesses he was assassinated by a political security gang because he refused to shoot at his people in Daraa.
Sakba: People recived the dead body of martyr Naser Aldaqr and they mourn him today. Yesterday a funeral took place for two other martyrs who were killed on the Great Friday: Ahmad Atayah and Basam Abdulmajed Slemah.
Arbitrary detention is now happening in the Damascus suburb Tal.
Palestinian intellectuals issued a statement denouncing the oppression of the Syrian regime by killing those who are asking for freedom and dignity. They are also rejecting “how the Syrian regime is pushing the name of Palestine and the Palestinian issue to justify all the suppression against its people” and they consider that the use of the Palestinian issue by the Syrian regime to justify the suppression of freedom in Syria is harming Palestine and its cause.
Army Tanks are moving on the Dayeri road in Damascus. Large amounts of detainees are being gathered from different areas.
