Syrian Students Pursue Studies in Lebanon
Lebanese universities are opening their doors to Syrian students forced to leave their country because of the ongoing war.
The Syrians say they are determined to be part of their country’s future reconstruction through their university studies, despite the difficulties they face in Lebanon.
Although there has been some discrimination against Syrians in Lebanon, the students said that the chance to continue their studies has been positive and that they are working to help citizens of both countries reconcile both on and off campus.
Jaafar Musa met some of these students and returned with this report.
