More than 100 children from needy families in the Idlib countryside were hosted at an event to mark Islamic World Orphans Day.
Organised by the Al-Sham organisation with sponsorship from the Qatari Eid Charity, the event also included an iftar meal for the orphans and their family members.
As well as Ramadan-themed competitions, children performed shows depicting the reality of civilians living under bombardment in liberated areas. Films and songs were screened and the children received gifts.
